Curriculum
Specializations and Core Courses
The accounting core starts with ACT300 on financial reporting, then moves to ACT350 and ACT360 (Intermediate Accounting I and II). Part I covers assets and current liabilities. Part II covers long-term debt, equity and statement analysis. ACT406 Business Intelligence in Taxation covers individual, partnership, corporate and estate tax.
ACT450 Auditing, ACT425 Information Systems for Accounting and ACT410 Government and Non-Profit Accounting fill out the upper level. COM420 teaches you to present data findings to non-specialists. ACT480 is the capstone in accounting research and analysis. The core is 51 credits and general education is 31.
You can add an optional 15-credit specialization in CMA or Long Term Care Administration.
Length
How Long It Takes
You'll need 120 credits. Your timeline depends on how much you transfer and how many 8-week courses you take each year. Up to 90 credits can transfer, including military service and career experience. The combined bachelor's and master's totals 144 credits, with 24 at the graduate level.
Cost

You'll pay $385 per credit, with no out-of-state rate. There are no required student fees on top of that, and your tuition is guaranteed not to go up. It also offers discounted rates for armed forces members and corporate partner employees.
