The Department of Accountancy in the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame offers the Bachelor of Business Administration in Accountancy. The department holds its own AACSB accreditation. You'll attend classes in person on campus.
Fit
Who It Fits
- If you're sure of accounting by year three, the 3+1 option asks for a 3.0 cumulative GPA, with audit and tax completed as electives.
- If you're targeting Deloitte, EY, KPMG or PwC, the catalog describes a strong record of placing graduates with those firms.
- If you like numbers and models, the analytics course teaches you data mining and simulation.
- If you want a second major, Finance, Marketing, Business Analytics and Strategic Management can pair with accountancy.
- If you're licensing in a specific state, a faculty adviser gives you tailored guidance on that state's rules for the certified public accountant (CPA) license.
