Verdict

Our Verdict on the BS

UF's accounting bachelor's runs through the Fisher School of Accounting, one of the country's few freestanding accounting schools. Its 3/2 option folds the master's into a five-year, 150-hour joint degree. All four Big 4 firms were top employers of Warrington graduates in 2024-2025.

The Bachelor of Science in Accounting is taught in person in Gainesville. The Fisher School of Accounting sits inside the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida, a public university. You earn 120 credits over four years, and the business school holds AACSB accreditation.

  • Students who like data work: you'll take a Python-based analytics and AI course in the business core.
