How We Chose These Programs
The Texas list covers accounting degrees from business schools, whether you'd attend on campus, in a hybrid format or from home, and they're all scored together. A program gets an accreditation mark here only when the accrediting body's own list names it.
Every bachelor's and master's degree gets a Program Score built from cost, graduate earnings, completion, flexibility, track record, accreditation and reputation, and the two levels are ranked separately. The methodology page walks through each factor.
- The school is based in Texas
- In-state rate shown when the school publishes one
- Scored the same way as every list, and compared only with programs at its own degree level
Each Program Score blends seven factors: Cost 20%, Graduate Earnings 20%, Completion 15%, Flexibility 15%, Credential Alignment 10%, Track Record 10%, Program Reputation 10% (method version 2.0).
